E2M is undertaking a five-year research program on black-throated finch within the Galilee Basin
The research program is delivering on Bravus’ commitment to implement a research program that aims to enhance habitat quality for black-throated finch within the Galilee Basin. To achieve this goal, our research aims to investigate:
- Home ranges and movement patterns, using automated radio-tracking towers and uniquely identifiable leg bands
- Habitat selection
- Dietary requirements; and
- Relationship with key habitat management factors such as grazing, fire regimes and water source availability.
E2M is working in close collaboration with Griffith University to provide a scientifically robust research program
