Matt has 7 years of experience within the environmental science sector, including 3 years as an ecologist conducting work at every stage of operations from baseline and targeted surveys, population monitoring, ecological impact assessments, habitat assessments, and rehabilitation monitoring. His experience is focused within Queensland fauna and flora, having completed works for a range of mining projects from the tropics to the outback.

Matt has acquired knowledge in state and federal legislation, species identification and survey methodologies required for flora and fauna surveys, from general to specific. He has worked extensively in terrestrial ecology baseline surveys and vegetation mapping for the purposes of vegetation map change approvals.
